Turing Tower has published Data Plane Threat Interpretation (DPTI), an open cybersecurity architecture designed to transform raw system activity into evidence-backed, explainable, and reproducible security judgments.
Traditional security systems focus on detecting threats and generating alerts, often losing the underlying evidence and context needed to explain those decisions later. DPTI introduces a different approach by preserving original evidence, connecting activity across systems and time, and applying version-controlled logic to produce prioritised security insights.
The architecture is built around four principles: immutable evidence, reproducible judgments, traceable provenance, and interpretation outside production execution paths.
Designed to be vendor-independent, DPTI can be implemented using existing enterprise technologies. Turing Tower has also implemented the architecture through Lumina, the intelligence foundation powering its cybersecurity products.
